Hume Highway Detour To The Marulan Village Centre
🚧 IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE – ACCESSING MARULAN FROM SYDNEY - 10 November to 18 December, 2025 🚧
Transport for NSW has closed the southbound exit ramp from the Hume Highway into Marulan to carryout road works, meaning travellers from Sydney will need to take a short 10–15 minute detour to reach our town.
🗺️ Two easy ways to reach Marulan from Sydney:
Option 1 – Marulan South Exit
Continue past Marulan, take the Marulan South exit, and follow the signs back to the village.
Option 2 – Red Hills Road
(via Wollumbi Road)
Turn right from the Hume Highway onto Wollumbi Rd
Turn left onto Red Hills Rd
Turn right onto Ambrose Rd and continue straight
Turn left onto Brayton Rd
Turn right onto George St – and you’ll arrive at the Marulan Village Centre!
